Munich, August 2, 2024 - International consulting firm Baker Tilly has provided business and tax advice to support the merger of Lemaro, an independent provider of fire safety inspections, and CERTANIA’s SGI Compliance Group. The strategic acquisition expands CERTANIA’s environmental inspection capabilities and doubles Lemaro’s market reach, thus meeting the growing demand for fire safety regulations in Europe.
The advisory services of the international team led by Munich-based Baker Tilly transaction partner Stefan Greger included financial and tax due diligence as well as support with the purchase agreement (SPA - Share Purchase Agreement).
The Baker Tilly deal team around Greger comprised consultant Grace Bejarano and junior manager Velina Osthaymer (both Munich) for the financial due diligence as well as partner Guy Fibbe and the two senior managers Mike Makkinje and Osgar Schaedtler (all Rotterdam) for the tax due diligence.
