Baker Tilly advises La Française REM on the acquisition of life science property in Nuremberg, Germany
Baker Tilly has provided legal advice to La Française Real Estate Managers (La Française REM) on the purchase of an office and manufacturing property southeast of Nuremberg.
The two collective real estate investment vehicles of the French asset manager La Française are thus acquiring their first building with life science use in Germany. The seller is the British real estate investment manager Crescendo Real Estate Advisors LLP.
La Française REM was advised by an interdisciplinary Baker Tilly team throughout the entire acquisition process. Our experts assisted in the legal due diligence as well as in the negotiation of the purchase agreement including signing and closing.
The responsible Baker Tilly team included Partner Dr. Hendrik Theismann, Attorney-at-Law, Partner Michael Mehler, Attorney-at-Law, Partner Andreas Griesbach, Attorney-at-Law/Tax Advisor, Manager Hale Hosseinpour, Attorney-at-Law, and Manager Sebastian Scholze, Attorney-at-Law.
Located in Nuremberg’s Eurocom Business Park, the building has a size of around 25,000 square meters, has six floors and is mainly used by the anchor tenant Ziehm Imaging. In addition to its headquarters, the medical technology company also operates a production facility for X-ray equipment at such site.
