Baker Tilly advises Urban Sports Club on acquisition of myClubs

Baker Tilly provides the sports and wellness platform Urban Sports Club with financial and tax advice on the acquisition of the Austrian and Swiss market leader myClubs.

Supported by the international consulting firm Baker Tilly, the leading German platform provider for sports and wellness, Urban Sports Club, has acquired its competitor myClubs. The international Baker Tilly team led by partner Nils Klamar provided advice on financial due diligence, tax due diligence in Austria and Switzerland and support in drafting the purchase agreement. The Baker Tilly deal team comprised Dennis Labbari (Frankfurt), Manuel Kletzer (Austria) and Natalie Müller (Switzerland).

Through the strategic acquisition of the largest sports network in Austria and Switzerland, myClubs, Urban Sports Club is expanding its offering to the entire German-speaking region and is consistently utilizing the scalability of its own platform technology, which was launched by the Urban Sports Club founders and managing directors, Moritz Kreppel and Benjamin Roth, in 2012.
