Baker Tilly advises quattron shareholders on participation of IceLake funds

Munich, February 19, 2025 – Funds advised by private equity investor IceLake have acquired a majority stake in q-holding GmbH and NEXTRAIL GmbH. A Baker Tilly team headed by Munich partners Ronny Walter and Dr. Jörg Maitzen (both Corporate/M&A) provided comprehensive legal advice to the shareholders of quattron in connection with the transaction.

In addition to the two partners, the Baker Tilly team consisted of Senior Manager Daniela Stephan, Senior Manager Till Werner and Manager Peter Reiß (all Corporate/M&A, Munich). Munich partner Ronny Walter has been advising quattron for many years and had already provided comprehensive advice on the merger of the four previously independent consulting companies for infrastructure operators from which quattron was formed.

The operating shareholders of quattron and NEXTRAIL will continue to manage the companies in the future and will retain a significant interest. In future, the two companies will operate as part of a joint group under one roof.
